Orthopedic rehabilitation is the treatment of individuals across the life span with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This can include trauma, sports injury, disease, infection, tumors, and congenital disorders. Often times the patient has had surgical interventions, such as a hip, knee or shoulder replacement.
The orthopedic program at Allied Services provides comprehensive rehabilitation to patients with muscle and joint surgeries and injuries of the extremities. Our goal is to recover functional skills, maximize mobility, and reduce pain levels. A dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists utilizes current research-based clinical practice to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. Orthopedic rehab is often recommended following surgery, athletic injury, or a workplace injury to help improve function and resume daily activities.

Back-to-golf program
Our team will perform a full evaluation and provide a customized program of golf swing specific exercise and training, with a focus on correcting postural compensations.
Isokinetic Testing
Isokinetic testing using the Biodex™ or KinCom™ Multi-Joint System assesses the degree of physical impairment on an injured or post-operative leg. Based on the amount of work performed by the patient, the system provides an appropriate amount of resistance, allowing for safe and effective strengthening and testing of joints without compromising the healing or rehabilitation of an injury.
Maintenance Exercise Program
Our team of therapists will provide a customized maintenance exercise program to improve lifelong health, reduce the chances of secondary complications, and maximize the effectiveness of restored neuromuscular connections.
Patients need a prescription from their doctor in order to enroll in the orthopedics program at Allied Services Rehab. Insurance coverage for this program is provided by most health insurance policies.
Patients are admitted to the inpatient orthopedics program when they are medically stable and determined appropriate for a rehabilitation program. Referrals may be made by a private physician, general hospital, family member, or those who have been injured themselves.
