Treatments Offered

Causes of pelvic disorders can be difficult to diagnose, and it is not recommended that you explore surgical options until you and your healthcare team have considered more conservative treatments. Pelvic rehabilitation has helped many patients find relief from their symptoms and avoid surgery altogether.

Specialized treatments we provide include:

  • Pelvic floor muscle training with biofeedback
  • Electrical stimulation for urinary incontinence
  • Manual therapy techniques for the pelvic floor and pelvis including dilator training, myofascial and trigger point release as needed
  • Scar tissue/abdominal adhesion release techniques
  • Body awareness and relaxation strategies
  • Individualized recommendations for bowel and bladder management and pain management
  • Custom exercise programs
  • Patient education for improved wellness and fitness
