Neurological disorders can occur as a result of a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. They can affect a person’s speech, language, thought process, and mobility.

Depending on the stage of recovery, neurological rehab can take place in our inpatient rehab hospitals, skilled nursing centers, and at our rehab centers in the community. Our outpatient therapy teams provide treatment for children and adults diagnosed with a range of neurological disorders including stroke, traumatic brain injury including concussion, vestibular and balance disorders, gait disorders, dysphagia, cancer, spinal cord injury, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, and more.

Our team members have earned advanced certifications in treatment protocols for neurological disorders including PWR Moves! and LSVT Big and Loud for the treatment of Parkinson's disease; APTA vestibular competency; AIB certification in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion.

Neuro Rehab at Allied Services

Our neuro rehab programs are designed to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient. The goal of neuro rehab is to help the patient achieve the highest level of function and independence possible. To reach these goals, the neuro rehab program may include:
