Ernie Cole

After retiring from the Berwick School District, Ernie Cole joined the neuropsychology department at Heinz Rehab Hospital. As an employee, he enjoyed working out in the rehab gym and being part of the sense of community that develops between patients and staff. When he tore his meniscus, he gained a new perspective on the healing process. He went back to work the next day and began working with the physical therapists at Heinz Rehab Center. During his rehabilitation, he developed friendships with fellow patients and discovered the respect that each and every one had for the expertise and knowledge of the rehab staff. Thanks to his dedication to therapy and the experience and guidance of his therapy team, Ernie made a full recovery. In the process, he gained friends and a new respect for the quality of care provided at Allied Services. Ernie has returned to these expert therapists for other injuries and recovery from shoulder surgery!
