2024 Fishing Fridays

Allied Services and Pennsylvania American Water are partnering to make fishing more accessible for individuals with disabilities. The Fishing Fridays program invites groups and individuals with disabilities to use the Paul Mahon Memorial Accessible Fishing Pier at Lake Scranton.

The 2024 Fishing Fridays program launches on May 10 and runs through September. Groups and individuals must make a reservation in advance to use to pier on the selected dates.

2024 Fishing Fridays

Residents of nursing homes and agencies serving individuals with disabilities are invited to use the Paul Mahon Memorial Accessible Fishing Pier at Lake Scranton on these dates:

• Friday, May 10, 2024
• Friday, June 14, 2024
• Friday, July 12, 2024
• Friday, August 9, 2024
• Friday, September 13, 2024

Available time slots: 10:00 a.m. to noon; 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Reservations must be made in advance. No individual fishing is permitted.
