JODY PRICE Clarks Summit, PA Team Member 2015 & 2019
Team Allied Services Ambassadors
As a teacher with a background in special education who has worked with many children of all ages with disabilities, I have seen the tremendous effect these funds have at Allied Services.
On November 3, Jody Price will run the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. This will be the second time the mom of 4 has run this iconic marathon on behalf of Allied Services.
“I feel very fortunate to have a family and job that I love, and the ability to do the things I enjoy in life, which is exactly why I consider it my duty to give back to the people in my community here in Northeastern Pennsylvania!”
Jody is running in honor of her friend, Gavin, from Dunmore. Gavin came into Jody’s life as a young toddler when she was his Early Intervention Specialist.
Gavin was diagnosed with autism just before his second birthday. With the help of early intervention and therapy at Allied Services, he has made huge strides. In fact, he was so successful that he graduated from occupational therapy! Gavin still loves coming to speech therapy at Allied Services.
He is a happy, funny, smart and thriving student at the Dunmore School District. Now 7, Gavin enjoys video games, trains, cars, swimming and camping. He will be cheering for Jody when she runs the marathon this fall.
