Hawk Family Foundation supports individuals with disabilities at Allied Services

Allied Services recently accepted a $15,000 donation from the Hawk Family Foundation. The donation represents a contribution to Team Allied Services and You, an annual charity campaign that raises funds for the non-profit health system. The months-long fundraising campaign culminates with a team of more than 60 volunteers participating in the TCS New York City Marathon. This is the 14th year Allied Services sent a marathon team to New York City.

David Hawk, Chair of the Hawk Family Foundation, noted that, “supporting Allied Services provides hope and opportunities for a better quality of life for people in our community. We have seen the positive outcomes of Allied Service’s dedication to providing specialized pediatric therapies. We are proud to help sustain these services for our community.

Allied Services continuum of care encompasses inpatient and outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, personal care, home health, hospice and palliative care, and additional community-based services, including mental health, residential, and vocational programs. The non-profit touches the lives of 5,000 individuals each day.

The Hawk Family Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families in Northeastern Pennsylvania through non-profit organizations dedicated to health, human services, education, and arts and culture. Priority is given to organizations serving the vulnerable, particularly children, seniors, those currently incarcerated, and returning citizens.
