HIGHMARK BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD SUPPORTS ALLIED SERVICES AT DEPAUL SCHOOL

REPOSTED from The Abington Journal

Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield recently presented funding to Allied Services Foundation at the dePaul School for Dyslexia to support children’s health programs. Highmark is a signature sponsor of WNEP’s Team Allied Services this year and the School Rules and Kick-Start Running Club programs. The School Rules program engages local schools in thinking about disability issues and raising funds for individuals with disabilities. The Kick-Start Running Club offers school-age students the opportunity to learn about making good choices as part of a healthy lifestyle and prepare to participate in their first 5k run. Students at the dePaul School are participating in the Kick-Start Running Club, thanks to $7,500 in funding from Highmark.
