About Dr. Gerald

Dr. Gerald Gibbons, Jr. serves as Site Director for the Family Medicine Program at Allied Services Wilkes-Barre Rehab Hospital. He is part of the medical teaching faculty, supporting Allied Services’ expansion of Graduate Medical Education in partnership with The Wright Center and Northeast Rehab Associates.

An internist with more than 45 years of experience, Dr. Gibbons is dedicated to training Resident Physicians and sharing his expertise in clinical care and medical education. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1976.
