Leadership from McCarthy Tire Service joined with two Team Allied Services runners who are preparing for the 50th running of the Marine Corps Marathon to present a generous $5,000 donation in support of Allied Services’ mission.
The check presentation underscores McCarthy Tire’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting organizations like Allied Services Integrated Health System that serve individuals at every stage of life.
“We are proud to partner with Allied Services and to support the incredible work they do in our community,” said Kathleen Lambert, CFO of McCarthy Tire Service. “From physical rehabilitation for children and seniors to providing compassionate care for veterans and those at the end of life, Allied’s mission truly touches countless lives across our region.”
Team Allied Services is a charity running team that raises awareness and vital funds through marathon participation. Best known for its long-standing presence in the renowned TCS New York City Marathon, the team is now expanding its reach to international races like the Paris and Tokyo marathon, and national events such as the Marine Corps Marathon. Despite the growth, the mission remains the same – to support children and adults served by Allied Services, especially veterans – whether recovering from injury, living with chronic illness, or receiving compassionate end-of-life care.
“This support from McCarthy Tire means so much – not only to our team but to the patients and families who rely on Allied’s programs,” said Jim Brogna, Vice President for Strategic Partnership Development at Allied Services. “As we prepare to represent our community on a national stage at the 50th Marine Corps Marathon, we are reminded that every step we take is fueled by generosity like this.”
The Marine Corps Marathon, often referred to as “The People’s Marathon,” is renowned for its emphasis on honoring military service. Team Allied Services runners, Jim Brogna and Bob Cole, will participate in the landmark 50th edition on October 26, 2025, carrying with them the names and stories of veterans and families served by Allied Services.
