The Pose Running Seminar presented by Allied Services offers runners of all experience levels the opportunity to learn the theory and practice of Pose Running. The Pose Method analyzes running gait and movement patterns to help reduce running-related injuries and improve running form.
About the Pose Method
If you’ve ever read tips on how to improve your running – lean forward, run on your forefoot, don’t overstride, increase your cadence to 180, etc – you’ve read bits and pieces of the Pose Method of Running. Developed in 1977 by Dr. Nicholad Romanov, it started a revolution in running.
Proper technique is the cornerstone of every sports discipline or any other activity that involves human movement. If you are learning a stable position for an overhead squat in weight lifting, a proper asana in yoga, or how to put all your body weight into a punch in martial arts, good mechanics and technique are essential. Running is no different! If you’re new to the sport, or even if you’ve been putting in the miles for many years, you will very likely benefit from improving your running form. Pose Method is a great system for teaching your body to run faster, longer, and injury-free! Learn more about the Pose Method.
