Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center – Scranton Earns 2025 AHCA/NCAL Bronze National Quality Award

Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton has been recognized as a recipient of the 2025 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The national award is the first step in a progressive three-level program that recognizes long term and post-acute care providers across the country for their dedication to quality care.

Allied Services is one of 653 long term care providers in 46 states to receive the Bronze Award this year. The designation reflects the organization’s commitment to continuous improvement and to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

“We are proud to be recognized with the 2025 Bronze National Quality Award,” noted James Cooney, Senior Vice President of Skilled Operations. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work, compassion, and dedication of our team who go above and beyond every day to support our residents and their families.”

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program sets rigorous standards of performance and quality that help participating facilities enhance the lives of the individuals they serve. The Bronze level requires applicants to demonstrate a strong foundation in organizational mission, vision, and values, as well as a commitment to performance improvement.

Recipients of the Bronze Award may now advance to the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award, which requires providers to demonstrate effective approaches that improve performance and health outcomes.

The 2025 National Quality Award recipients will be honored during the Elevating Excellence Awards Ceremony at AHCA/NCAL’s Convention & Expo: Delivering Solutions 25, scheduled for October in Las Vegas, Nevada.
