The volunteer committee for the 32nd Annual Autism Golf Classic—presented by MotorWorld Lexus—introduced the Dick Maslow Memorial Cup, a new permanent award honoring the legacy of a beloved community leader and philanthropist.
Dick Maslow, a long-time advocate for children with autism and a devoted philanthropist, is remembered for his unwavering dedication to Allied Services and passion for the game of golf. The memorial cup will be awarded annually to the winner of the health system's Autism Golf Classic; an event which embodies Mr. Maslow's spirit of giving and commitment to making a difference.
With gratitude and emotion, Mr. Maslow’s three daughters enthusiastically accepted the honor as they pledged to carry on their father’s legacy, supporting the causes he cherished—particularly the Autism Golf Classic.
“Dick Maslow’s contributions to Allied Services and to countless families in our community cannot be overstated,” said Jim Brogna, Vice President of Strategic Partnership Development at Allied Services. “This cup is a lasting tribute to a man whose generosity changed lives.”
The 32nd Annual Autism Golf Classic will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the prestigious Huntsville Golf Club in Lehman, PA. The event raises vital funds for Allied Services’ pediatric autism programs, which provide thousands of therapy visits each year to children in need throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Golfers and supporters will enjoy a full day including a continental breakfast, on-course contests, lunch, an outdoor cocktail reception, dinner, and a raffle.
