Personal care may be the best option if you or your loved one wants to maintain a certain level of independence while receiving support with activities of daily living. Our personal care homes offer comfortable, friendly and home-like accommodations for individuals or couples who do not require 24 hour supervision by a skilled clinician. Allied Services offers personal care at three convenient locations in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre:

· Allied Services Meade Street Residence
Our personal care homes provide individuals and couples with safe and secure accommodations without the worries and hassles of home maintenance. This level of care may be ideal for individuals or couples who wish to retain their privacy and independence while enjoying access to more opportunities for social and recreational activities.
At Allied Services personal care homes, you may enjoy access to:
· restaurant-style dining
· full slate of social, educational, and recreational activities
· friendly and skilled 24-hour staff
· additional services such as a beauty salon and barber shop
· activity areas, library, wireless internet
· outings, transportation, laundry and housekeeping
· spiritual support, such as daily or weekly mass.
As part of the continuum of care offered by Allied Services, residents have access to additional services, such as home health, palliative and hospice care, as needed.
