Team Allied Services Prepares for 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

As the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon season approaches, Team Allied Services is preparing for what is expected to be its largest and most impactful year yet.

Now in its 17th year, Team Allied Services has grown into a powerful fundraising and awareness initiative, bringing together runners from not only Northeastern Pennsylvania, but across the country. As an Official Silver Charity Partner of the New York City Marathon, the organization has secured several official race entries, with additional volunteer runners joining the effort - resulting in a team of more than 70 participants united by a shared purpose.

Since its inception, Team Allied Services has raised an impressive $6.7 million to support programs and care throughout its continuum. In 2025 alone, the team achieved a record-breaking milestone, raising more than $634,000 to benefit Allied Services’ wide range of healthcare and human service programs.

Each runner commits not only to training for the 26.2-mile race, but also to fundraising and serving as an ambassador for Allied Services’ mission. The funds raised remain local, directly supporting individuals at every stage of life - from pediatric rehabilitation for children with disabilities or developmental delays, to mental health services, programs for veterans, hospice and palliative care, and services for adults and seniors.

The impact of these efforts is deeply felt throughout the community, helping individuals regain independence, build critical life skills, and receive compassionate care when it is needed most.

“The success of Team Allied Services truly depends on the strength of our community,” said Jim Brogna, Senior Vice President of Allied Services. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our sponsors, donors, and community partners who believe in our mission. Their generosity makes it possible for us to provide essential programs and care to those who rely on us every day.”

As the 2026 marathon season gets underway, the team is focused on building on its momentum and continuing its tradition of impact. With the support of the community, Team Allied Services hopes to once again reach new heights - both on the course and in the lives of those they serve.

Supporters are encouraged to follow the team’s journey and contribute to their efforts as they prepare to take on one of the world’s most iconic races - all in support of a mission that extends far beyond the finish line.
