Team Allied Services 5K & All-Abilities Walk Returns September 28

Runners, walkers, and community supporters will lace up their sneakers on Sunday, September 28, 2025, for the annual Team Allied Services 5K & All-Abilities Walk, sponsored by Aon and Quantum Rehab. The event will take place at Valor Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 816 Providence Road in Scranton.

The day begins with registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K Run and 2-Mile Walk at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., the spotlight shifts to the All-Abilities Walk, the heart of the day’s celebration.

A Celebration of Courage and Community

Unlike a typical road race, the All-Abilities Walk places children and adults with disabilities at the center of attention. For some, it may be their first steps after rehabilitation. For others, it’s a chance to walk or roll proudly among peers, family, and supporters. Each participant represents resilience and determination, inspiring those who gather to cheer them on.

“Allied Services has always been about empowering individuals of all abilities to reach their fullest potential,” said organizers. “This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about celebrating milestones and building community.”

Supporting Life-Changing Care

Proceeds from the event benefit rehabilitation programs for children and adults cared for by Allied Services. At Allied Services, patients receive care at every stage of life - from pediatric therapies that help children take their first steps, to programs supporting adults recovering from illness or injury, to specialized care for seniors.

The organization also proudly honors those who have served in our armed forces, providing dedicated veteran-centered programs that ensure former service members receive the rehabilitation, support, and dignity they deserve.

These life-changing services touch thousands of lives each year, offering hope, healing, and independence to individuals and families across the region.
