Mohegan Sun Pocono donates to Allied Services

For the eleventh year, Mohegan Sun Pocono renewed its commitment to the health and well-being of the local community through its support for WNEP’s Team Allied Services, a charity campaign benefitting children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services Integrated Health System.

“We’re proud to support WNEP’s Team Allied Services and Allied Services. Over the years, we’ve seen the impact this organization has on the quality of life of individuals in our community” commented Tony Carlucci, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun Pocono.

Since 2010, Mohegan Sun Pocono has donated more than $170,000 to Allied Services and WNEP’s Team Allied Services. Proceeds from the campaign support Allied Services work in providing healthcare and human services to individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness.

Traditionally, the Team Allied Services campaign culminates with local runners completing the TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Allied Services. Although the marathon has been cancelled for 2020, the charity campaign will go on.

“Throughout the pandemic, our heroic staff has continued to provide life-sustaining care to more than 4,000 individuals daily, in homes and in our rehab hospitals, nursing homes, residential care settings and hospice” commented Attorney Bill Conaboy, President & CEO of Allied Services Integrated Health System.

“We know that the need for the care we provide will only continue to grow in the days ahead, and we are grateful for the extraordinary support that Mohegan Sun Pocono continues to lend us and our staff.”
