RYAN BLASZCZAK, Millersville, Team Member 2019

My humble beginnings were spent in Wilkes-Barre, PA being nurtured under the fine tutelage of educators at Lake- Lehman and Wyoming Seminary. Over the years I have matriculated to Annapolis, MD but still hold a great deal of fondness for my birthplace. When I am not working, I spend my downtime playing the Rocky IV soundtrack on loop as I train for a variety of races (Marathons, Triathlons, Ragnars, and the occasional beer mile). Some may say that I am “accomplished, but in reality, I try to abide by the motto that most triathletes abide by. “Why be good at one sport when you can be marginal at 3”.

Inspired by my Wilke-Barre roots and an avid running enthusiast, this cause inspires me throughout every stride. This cause is a call to improve the quality of life among individuals that span our network. It is a call to human decency and self-reflection. I understand the need for daily, healthy activity and I am able to relate to the ethos of Allied Services’ endeavors. Upon reaching my goal, each step that I complete in the marathon is a reflection of my efforts to help accomplish their goals.
