On Saturday, October 12, more than 400 people gathered at PenFed Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Scranton for the annual WNEP’s Team Allied Services 5k and All-Abilities Walk, an event focused on celebrating the accomplishments and physical milestones of past and present patients of Allied Services Integrated Health System. The event was supported by Signature Event Sponsors, Aon Risk Solutions and Quantum Rehab. Earlier this year, Aon presented Allied Services with a $7,500 donation towards WNEP’s Team Allied Services 10; the health system's annual fundraising campaign benefiting children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
On November 3, WNEP TV’s Ryan Leckey and 50 other runners will take part in the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. Noted as the largest marathon in the world, the legendary footrace marks the culmination of the WNEP’s Team Allied Services campaign and months of fundraising and awareness-raising for Allied Services. Aon will be represented in the race by employee Amy Sestito of Philadelphia, PA.
