For the tenth year running, Mohegan Sun Pocono showed its commitment to the health and well-being of the local community through its support for WNEP’s Team Allied Services, a charity campaign benefitting children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services Integrated Health System. Mohegan Sun Pocono recently presented Allied Services with a donation of $15,000. In addition to the sponsorship, Mohegan Sun Director of Marketing, Robert Burkett, announced a portion of proceeds from the annual Team Allied Services kick-off event at Party on the Patio held on August 15th would also be donated to the campaign.

“We’re proud to support WNEP’s Team Allied Services and Allied Services. Over the years, we’ve seen the impact this organization has on the quality of life of individuals in our community” commented Tony Carlucci, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun Pocono.

Since 2010, Mohegan Sun Pocono has donated close to $160,000 to Allied Services and WNEP’s Team Allied Services. Funds raised through the annual charity campaign enable the non-profit health system to invest in advanced rehab technology and services to support the rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries and illnesses.

On November 3, Mohegan Sun Pocono employee, Abdallah Arajdel, will join 49 other volunteers in running the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon for Allied Services and WNEP’s Team Allied Services. A native of Morocco, Abdul recently passed his citizenship test and was officially sworn in as an American citizen on April 15, 2019. He is honored to run the New York City Marathon, not only as a representative of Mohegan Sun Pocono, but as an American.
