KRISTIN FRITZ, Hazleton, PA Team Member 2018 & 2019

I am so excited to be a part of Team Allied Services for a second year! I started running after our fourth child was born because I needed something to call my own. It all started with a 5K and I eventually ran my first marathon in 2010 and haven’t stopped since.

On November 3, Kristin Fritz will run the TCS New York City Marathon as part of Team Leckey. This is Kristin’s second time running to raise funds and awareness for Allied Services. The pharmaceutical representative started running after her fourth child was born because she needed something to call her own.

Kristin is returning to the Team Allied Services team with her faithful and fun-loving friend and ambassador, Olivia Kusner. Six year old Olivia was born with Down Syndrome. She has been a patient at Allied Services in Scranton since she was just 3, attending twice-weekly speech and occupational therapy sessions.

Olivia’s parents, Maryialyn and Bob, believe that without these services, Olivia would not be where she is today. With the help of these services and her therapists at Allied Services, Olivia is an Olyphant Lion Pride Squad cheerleader, a basketball player, and a bowler. Olivia is a talented, confident and much-loved performer; she has been featured in YouTube videos and local theater groups as a dancer/singer/actress. She has been featured by Nothing Down, a creative campaign designed to challenge the way the world sees Down Syndrome.

“This is Olivia’s third year as a Team Allied Services ambassador and so proud of her and that she has the opportunity to be part of the Allied Services community” says Marialyn.
