CITIZENS INVESTMENT SERVICES INVEST IN LOCAL COMMUNITY

Citizens Investment Services recently contributed $2,500 to WNEP Team Allied Services 7, an annual charity campaign that raises funds for children and adults with disabilities served by Allied Services in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. The funds raised enable the local non-profit health system to invest in cutting-edge rehab technology for the benefit of their patients.

In addition to their corporate donation, Citizens Investment Services is supporting the campaign through the involvement of one of their own employees. James P Chiaro, Vice President and Financial Consultant for Citizens Investment Services, is one of 52 local athletes who will be running and representing Allied Services in the TCS New York City Marathon on November 6.  Chiaro works throughout 16 offices located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He grew up in Scranton and currently lives in Moscow. Along the way to the marathon, he is fundraising and raising awareness of the positive impact that WNEP’s Team Allied Services has on individuals and families in the local area.

“As a company, we believe that investing in our community enriches us all. As a father and husband and someone who enjoys being active, it feels good to be part of a campaign that is focused on helping people with disabilities and life-changing injuries to thrive. Allied Services plays such a big role in the well-being of individuals and families in this region and Citizens Investment Services is proud to support this cause” commented James P Chiaro, Vice President, Citizen Investment Services.

This will be Chiaro’s first marathon. To learn more about the campaign or to donate, call 570-348-1407 or visit alliedservices.org/teamallied
