TEAM ALLIED SERVICES COMPETITORS INCLUDE LOCAL RESIDENTS

REPOSTED from thevalleyadvantage.com

For the seventh year in a row, WNEP-TV’s Ryan Leckey and a team of 50 athletes will be running in the world’s biggest and most popular marathon, the New York City Marathon, Sunday, Nov. 6, to raise money for Allied Services. With nearly 50,000 finishers in 2015, the marathon is largely made up of charity runners who are raising funds for their chosen charity partner.

Five of the individuals are local residents: Megan Horeis of Peckville, Matt Madden of Throop, Stacey Williams of Jessup, Holly Zinskie of Peckville and Leckey himself of Throop.

This year, the campaign aims to raise $500,000 to benefit patients at Allied Services.
