TEAM ALLIED SERVICES 7 RAISES MORE THAN $500K

REPOSTED from WNEP.COM

WNEP-TV’s Team Allied Services 7 raised $502,315 during this year’s charity campaign. The grand total check was unveiled Friday, November 11.

It’s a morning that’s been months in the making for WNEP-TV’s Team Allied Services 7.

Friday, November 11, marked the final celebration Team Allied Services 7. The charity campaign raises money for children and adults with disabilities served by Allied Services.  Allied is one of our area’s largest nonprofit organizations with a mission of “providing miracles in rehab.”

Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey had the final check presentation on Newswatch 16 This Morning raising $502,315.

Now, more than $2.1 million has been raised in the seven years through the Team Allied Services campaigns.

Our charity team is represented by people across Northeastern & Central Pennsylvania. We met a few of them Friday morning and even received a last minute donation from UNICO.

Here, Ryan Leckey gives you an inside look at our charity team in action at the world’s biggest marathon.

Ryan introduces you to Steve Davidowitz from Dallas who came up with the idea for Team Allied Services years ago.
