Allied Services Named an Official Charity Partner of the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon Set for Sunday, November 3, 2019

Allied Services was named an Official Charity Partner of the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon, it was announced today by Jim Brogna, Vice President of Corporate Advancement and Communications for Allied Services. The race will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

“Allied Services is thrilled to be named as an official charity partner of the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon,” said Jim Brogna, Vice President of Corporate Advancement and Communications. “The TCS New York City Marathon has provided a transformative experience not only for our dedicated runners raising funds for our cause, but also for our employees and the individuals and families we serve. We are proud to support them on their journey to the iconic finish line as they raise important funds to benefit children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services.

This will be Allied Services tenth year as an official Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon. Over the past nine years, the non-profit organization has led a charity campaign in partnership with WNEP TV, bringing together people with a passion for running and a passion for changing lives.

Since 2010, more than 230 athletes have completed the TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Allied Services while helping to raise more than $3.2 million. The funds raised have enabled Allied Services to invest in cutting-edge rehab technology and programs to transform the lives of their patients.

In early 2019, Allied Services and the WNEP Ryan’s Run Team will select 50 volunteer athletes to represent them in the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. Selected team members will have the opportunity to partner with a patient ambassador at Allied Services as they dedicate themselves to training, fundraising and raising awareness of the work of Allied Services.
