That’s what WNEP’s Ryan’s Run and the Kick-Start Running Club is all about. The Kick-Start Running Club is a 5-week running program that you can implement at your school to encourage students and their families to run for a good cause.
The program is designed to prepare students to complete their first 5k
race. It can be adapted to any age and ability. Participating schools
have the opportunity to be matched
with an official Ryan’s Run 9 runner who will motivate and guide
with their training experiences. Begun at the start of the new school
year, the program culminates with a 5k and All-Abilities Walk at Scranton
High School, October 6 benefitting WNEP’s Ryan’s Run 9.
