JASON WILLIAMS, Wilkes-Barre, Team Member 2016 & 2019

Over the years, I have proudly supported our employees who have represented us on the team. In 2016, I took the plunge and ran the NYC Marathon, and this fall, I will set out to run the TCS New York City Marathon once again to help patients at Allied Services.

On November 3, Jason Williams will run the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon. Jason is proud to be representing his family’s company - celebrating 90 years in business - and helping patients at Allied Services. This will be the second time running the NYC Marathon for the Chief Strategy Officer for Jack Williams Tire. This time, he is running in honor of a Jack Williams Tire employee who is back on his feet thanks to the staff at Allied Services.

Earlier in 2019, Jason Denig of Tobyhanna was severely injured in an automobile accident. The father of 3 suffered a broken heel, 6 broken ribs, a fractured femur and injuries to his hips. Jason was in hospital for 2.5 weeks during which time he underwent 5 surgeries. When he arrived at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Scranton, Jason couldn’t stand or walk. Over the next 2.5 months, Jason worked with his therapists to regain his mobility; first with upper body exercises, then bearing weight on his left side and then finally, bearing weight on both feet.

Jason returned home, and with more hard work and physical therapy, was able to return to work as General Manager of the Jack Williams Tire store in Mount Pocono. Jason is continuing his rehabilitation at Allied Services Mount Pocono Rehab Center with the goal of being able to walk more freely and with less pain. We’re rooting for Jason and Jason as they work towards their goals in training and rehabilitation.
