Jack Williams Tire making a difference for people with disabilities

Jack Williams Tire recently presented Allied Services Integrated Services with a $15,000 donation as part of WNEP’s Ryan’s Run 10. The annual charity campaign involving WNEP’s Ryan Leckey culminates with a team of 50 area runners completing the TCS New York City Marathon. In the lead up the race, the team and its supporters raise funds to enable the purchase of cutting-edge rehab technology to benefit children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. Since 2011, Jack Williams Tire has donated more than $130,000 to Allied Services in support of the campaign that touches the lives of local families and individuals.

Jack Williams Tire is a third-generation family-owned business celebrating 90 years in business. What began with one store in Kingston has grown to 36 retails stores spread across Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Throughout the company’s 90 year history, the family has consistently given back to the communities it lives and works in.

“We are proud to be part of Ryan’s Run and help to support the meaningful work Allied Services provides to our community” Jason Williams, Chief Strategy Officer, Jack Williams Tire.

On November 3, Jason Williams of Jack Williams Tire will run the TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for patients at Allied Services. He is running in honor of Jason Denig, General Manager of the Mount Pocono retail store.

Earlier this year, Denig was injured in automobile accident and received rehabilitation at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Scranton. He is back to work and continuing his rehabilitation at Allied Services Mount Pocono Rehab Center. Colleagues and customers at the 36 Jack Williams Tire locations in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania have been showing their support for Jason and Allied Services by purchasing footprints for $1.
