ALLIED SERVICES SEEKING RUNNERS TO HELP CHANGE LIVES

Allied Services has begun its annual search for dedicated, passionate runners to join its fundraising team. Since 2010, Allied Services has partnered with WNEP TV to host Ryan’s Run, a fundraising and awareness-raising campaign for children and adults with disabilities served by Allied Services. Each year, runners from around Pennsylvania and beyond team up with Allied Services ambassadors to fundraie and spread the word about the campaign. With the help of the runners, their families, corporate sponsors and many more individuals and groups, the campaign has raised more than $2.1 million since it began.

Now, Allied Services is seeking 50 runners to joins it team for the 2017. Runners will have the opportunity to partner with an Allied Services Ambassador as they learn about the individuals and families impacted by the campaign. Allied Services is once again a Silver Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon, which means special VIP race-day perks for its runners.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the biggest and most legendary marathons in the world, all while changing lives here at home” commented Charlotte Wright, Director of Special Events at Allied Services. “Time and time again, our runners tell us how the campaign is much more than running a marathon for them. They become part of a team and part of the Allied Services family. Its a truly rewarding experience.”
