Allied Services outpatient rehab centers to reopen with COVID-19 precautions
News
Allied Services Integrated Health System announced today that it will reopen its outpatient rehab centers on Monday, May 11, 2020. The outpatient centers will reopen with added safety measures. These include enhanced environmental cleaning protocols, screening of all patients and staff and the use of personal protective equipment per guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“Our priority is the safety of our patients, employees and their families” commented Cathy Guzzi, Assistant Vice President of Outpatient Therapy at Allied Services. “We have taken time to reorganize our patient care spaces and develop protocols that will allow us to provide important therapy services while protecting our patients and staff.”
Patients and staff will be required to wear a mask. Waiting areas and treatment areas will be adjusted to make room for social distancing. Patients may be asked to use designated entrances to minimize contact with others, and staff members will check the body temperature and ask routine screening questions of all employees and patients upon entry.
