COVID-19: How YOU can help

COVID-19: How YOU can help

Every day Allied’s 3,500 employees and volunteers strive to care for nearly 5,000 people throughout Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Allied Services works together with consumers, their families, caregivers and physicians to offer care that meets physical, social, psychological and vocational needs of:

  • People who have injuries or disabling illnesses
  • Children with special needs
  • People with developmental disabilities
  • Persons who need assistance with activities of daily living

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to pose a threat to our community, Allied Services and its dedicated employees work tirelessly to provide care for people throughout Northeastern Central Pennsylvania, both in our facilities and in the community. We invite you to join us in supporting our staff and patients during this stressful time. Together, we can play an important role in addressing this emergency and helping those affected by it.

There are many ways YOU can help.

Examples of items that can be donated for use by residents and patients include:

  • Materials for simple arts and crafts projects; coloring books and crayons, stationery, greeting cards, pens. Knitting and crochet supplies.
  • Games (checkers, board games, elementary-age children's board games, playing cards), etc.
  • Gift cards for Wal-Mart and Amazon

Examples of donations for use by our staff include:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Non-latex gloves and masks; hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and sprays. We are accepting hand-sewn masks.
  • Meals: Our facilities are staffed 24 hours a day with many staff working longer than normal shifts to ensure our residents and patients are receiving the care they need. A donation of a gift card to a local restaurant can help lift spirits. By donating restaurant gift cards you can support local businesses and our staff at the same time. Sam's Club gift cards help us provide snacks and other sweet treats. *RESTAURANTS: If you are the owner/operator/manager of a local restaurant and would like to donate a meal to one of our facilities, please fill out the form below and note what establishment you are from and the best phone number to reach you. We will contact you to coordinate your donation.

Please fill out the form below if you have supplies to donate.

Note: We will contact you with details about your supplies and delivery instructions. For your safety and the safety of others, please do not drop off supplies at our facilities.

Our team of dedicated caregivers are working to keep both our patients and residents safe. Your gift will help us to continue our life-changing work: from palliative and end of life-care to physical rehab for people following an injury; care for people with mental, physical and developmental disabilities to cutting-edge technology for people recovering from stroke.
