Allied Services designated MS Partners in Care

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society designates Allied Services Integrated Health System as members of its national Partners in Care program. Kristina Dorkoski, PT, DPT, CEEAA, NCS of Heinz Rehab Hospital and Danielle Burrier, MS, CCC/SLP of Luger Scranton Rehab Center serve as the clincial contacts for the Partners in MS Care Program which recognizes Allied Services and its staff for their demonstrated knowledge, experience and special interest in evaluating and treating people living with multiple sclerosis.

Allied Services is proud to be a recognized local resource for multiple sclerosis care. Partners in MS Care throughout the country maintain a collaborative relationship with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with the goal of assisting people living with multiple sclerosis in accessing and receiving optimal care.

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and fatigue. According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the disease affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide.

Allied Services Integrated Health System offers people living with multiple sclerosis access to highly trained and experienced physical, occupational and speech therapists, wellness programs, advanced rehabilitation technology including adaptive exercise technology and a monthly support group.
