Allied Services extends suspension of services at its Outpatient Rehab Centers

Allied Services Integrated Health System today announced that it would extend the suspension of services at its Outpatient Rehab Centers. The 16 locations that provide outpatient speech, physical and occupational therapy will remain closed until May 4, 2020. This follows an initial announcement on March 20, 2020 of the suspension of services.

Allied Services made the decision after careful consideration and consultation with medical and infection control leadership. Patients have been alerted to the change. The suspension of therapy services at Allied Services outpatient rehab centers is intended to safeguard the health and safety of employees and patients, reduce the number of community interactions and safeguard the supply of infection control and protective equipment necessary for patient care at Allied Services multiple inpatient, skilled nursing and residential facilities in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Patients will be contacted to reschedule their appointment when the facilities reopen. This decision affects the following locations:

  • Allied Services Berwick Rehab Center
  • Allied Services Carbondale Rehab Center
  • Allied Services Dallas Rehab Center
  • Allied Services Dickson City Rehab Center
  • Allied Services Dunmore Rehab Center
  • Allied Services Kingston Rehab Center
