WNEP’s Team Allied Services reached global status

WNEP’s Team Allied Services reached global status once again thanks to the generous support of Open Access BPO. The Philippines-based company is a 3-year, major sponsor of the annual charity campaign, contributing $25,000 to Allied Services in 2018 alone. Although the multi-lingual customer care and support center is based in the Philippines, it does have local ties. The CEO of Open Access Marketing, Ben Davidowitz, is a native of Kingston. A longtime Team Allied Services supporter, Mr. Davidowitz is also the brother of Team Leckey member Steve Davidowitz of Dallas. Steve has run and raised funds for Allied Services for 8 years. Three Open Access employees from the Philippines represented the company in the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon, running alongside volunteer runners from around Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Washington State.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Team Allied Services campaign are being earmarked for the Indego, a rehabilitation device recently FDA-approved for use with patients learning to walk following a stroke. Indego is a powered lower limb exoskeleton enabling people with spinal cord injuries, and now stroke, to walk and participate in gait training.

About Open Access BPO: Open Access BPO started out as a telemarketing startup, a sole proprietorship founded by Ben Davidowitz in San Carlos, California in 2006. Not much later, Davidowitz partnered with Henry Chang to start an LLC which later branched out into two operating sites. The company first transferred its facilities to Makati City, Philippines in 2007, later expanding to Taipei, Taiwan in 2014 and Davao City, Philippines the following year. The company now employs more than 1,300 employees handling various accounts from businesses of all sizes and industries around the world.
