Mohegan Sun Pocono donates almost $20,000 to Allied Services

For the ninth year running, Mohegan Sun Pocono showed its commitment to the health and well-being of the local community through its support for WNEP’s Ryan’s Run, a charity campaign benefiting children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services Integrated Health System. Mohegan Sun Pocono recently presented Allied Services with a donation of $15,000.

Earlier in the year, Mohegan Sun Pocono announced that proceeds from its Throwback Thursdays concert series hosted at Breakers throughout June would also benefit Allied Services. The donations from guests attending Throwback Thursdays totaled $4,760.

“We’re proud to support WNEP’s Ryan’s Run and Allied Services. Over the years, we’ve seen the impact this organization has on the quality of life of individuals in our community” commented Tony Carlucci, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun Pocono.

Since 2010, Mohegan Sun Pocono has donated close to $140,000 to Allied Services and WNEP’s Ryan’s Run. Funds raised through the annual charity campaign enable the non-profit health system to invest in advanced rehab technology and services to support the rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries and illnesses.

On November 4, Mohegan Sun Pocono employee, Audra Hughes, will join 49 other volunteers in running the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon for Allied Services and WNEP’s Ryan’s Run. To learn more about the campaign, call 570.348.1407 or visit alliedservices.org/ryansrun
