REPOSTED from Valley Advantage
Anyone stopping by Smokin’ Joe’s Ice Cream Shoppe in Mount Cobb on Sept. 23 was in for a sweet surprise: the family-run store hosted a one-day fundraiser to benefit children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. There were kids’ activities, raffles, bounce houses, live music and an ice-cream sundae-eating contest. Jim Brogna of Allied Services was among those competing. The event raised $2,165.
