Neil Armstrong Elementary raises more than $1,600 for children and adults with disabilities

Students, faculty, staff and parents gathered at Neil Armstrong Elementary in to celebrate the end of their annual fundraising efforts for WNEP’s Team Allied Services. This year, the school raised $1645 in conjunction with an after-school running club for 5th and 6th graders. The club, which is in its 4th year, had 55 members this year, many of whom took part in Ryan’s Run 5k in Scranton on October 7. The funds raised by Neil Armstrong Elementary will benefit children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services.
