FNCB Bank sponsors Halloween Pub Run to benefit WNEP’s Team Allied Services

FNCB Bank, locally-based for over 100 years, showed its support for WNEP’s Team Allied Services 7 when it sponsored a special event to raise funds for the campaign. FNCB donated $2,500 to sponsor Scranton Running Company’s Halloween Pub Run. Approximately 100 runners braved the cold and rain to take part in the fun-run on October 27, dressed in costume. In total, the event raised close to $500, which along with FNCB Bank’s donation, will benefit children and adults with disabilities served by Allied Services.

Some of the runners that turned out for the fundraiser, including Scranton Running Company employee Justin Sandy, will soon be running and representing Allied Services in the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon. On November 6, WNEP’s Ryan Leckey and 50 area athletes will head to New York City to raise funds and awareness for individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness. The goal of WNEP’s Team Allied Services 7 is to raise $500,000 to be invested in cutting-edge rehab technology. FNCB Bank has been a supporter throughout the campaign’s seven-year history, serving as major sponsor in 2012, event sponsor in 2013 and School Rules sponsor in 2014.
