Allied Services’ Kim Emick, O.T.R./L will join a panel of experts on WVIA’s “Call the Doctor” on Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. The program is the second in a two-part series dedicated to the topic of Breast Cancer. The panel will discuss emotional and physical aspects of Survivorship, and community resources available to patients and their families. The first program on Wednesday, October 7th, will address advancements in treatments options.

In 2013, Kim Emick, O.T.R./L became certified in the treatment of Lymphedema and has been providing support to breast cancer patients at Allied Services since then. Emick earned her graduate degree from Misericordia University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. She will join a panel of experts including Billie Jo Day, RN, BSN, CN-BN, Oncology Navigator at the Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health, Jessica Klonoski, a social worker, Alice Hopkins of Hematology & Oncology Associates, Dr. Timothy J. Farrell, Geisinger Health System, Megan Haggerty, MD, NROC, and Lisa Thomas, MD, Hematology Oncology Associates of NEPA.
