The company hosted its Embrace the Abilities Dinner, which also served as the organization’s 60th anniversary celebration. Twenty-six Pennsylvania workers were honored with achievement awards for the character they demonstrate in living and coping with disabilities, particularly in the workplace. In addition to the award, each winner received a monetary prize and an all-expense paid trip for three to the awards dinner. Louis Scarantino, from Old Forge, was recognized during the dinner, for not only his character, but also the personal fortitude, work ethic and abilities he exhibits while living and working with a disability. Mr. Scarantino works as a photo license technician through Allied Services.
