Representatives from UGI Utilities, Inc. visited Allied Services dePaul School in Scranton to present a $15,000 check as an Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) contribution to the private, not-for-profit school. The funds will enable eligible students to receive financial support to attend the Allied Services dePaul School.
Allied Services dePaul School provides a specialized education for children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, focusing on teaching students how to maximize their abilities and compensate for learning disabilities. The small class sizes, a structured learning environment and well researched methods of teaching have helped hundreds of children to overcome their learning disability, return to and succeed in a conventional school setting.
