The University of Scranton will be hosting the 5th annual Conference on Aging on Thursday, April 9, 2015 8AM – 4PM in the Patrick & Margaret DeNaples Center, University of Scranton. The conference will build on previous years’ successful conference by providing programming that is practical, informative and foundational for the future. This annual Conference on Aging provides a forum that educates practitioners, providers, academics, economists, and the community with numerous and diverse presentations. The conference promotes the view that healthy aging results from an integrated approach to caring for the elder. The conference draws its speakers and panelist from a variety of disciplines and elder related professions thus providing an opportunity to learn about best practices and new research findings. By facilitating collaboration between practitioners, health care institutions and academic centers, participants are able to interface academic findings with practical applications.
