Dillon has the drive to reach new heights!

Introducing a young man named Dillon. He was born with neurological disorders and other cerebral challenges. At birth, Dillon was "lifeless" with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. He was resuscitated immediately and experienced three of four seizures shortly after birth, causing cerebral challenges and developmental delays. The brain hemorrhaging and swelling has caused Dillon to experience vision challenges as well as early developmental challenges. In fact, he spent two weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit.

After attempting early intervention therapy at home, Dillon's mother decided it would be best to start therapy at John Heinz Pediatric Program. His therapists-Theresa and Lisa-have worked closely with Dillon over the past few years with such success his therapy is now reduced to physical therapy once per month and occupational therapy once per week! Dillon's growth, both physically and neurologically over the past two years, is a "miracle" according to his mother.
