Melissa Krahnke
Hi! I’m Melissa ‘Lissa’ Krahnke. I’m a radio personality/musician originally from Michigan. I moved to Northeastern Pennsylvania in 2010 to be on-air at 98.5 WKRZ. I currently produce and co-host the morning show there and I also co-host a syndicated rock show on the weekends called The Tour Bus. As a singer/songwriter, I perform at several venues along the east coast (all original music, piano & vocals, very bluesy, Adele-meets-Melissa Etheridge kind of stuff).
My three passions are music, fitness, and helping people. I am so excited that Ryan’s Run will let me do all three! I’ve been an avid runner since 2002 and although I’ve done several charity 5Ks, 10Ks, and one half-marathon, this will be my first full marathon and I could not be more excited to be running for this cause! I met some of the staff and patients at Allied Services last year and immediately fell in love with everybody. So thank you in advance and I look forward to the spectacular Team Leckey making this the BEST YEAR EVER for Ryan’s Run! Every little bit helps and every person with disabilities deserves the amazing quality care that only Allied Services can give!
