Katie & John Parsons
Katie and John are thrilled to be participating in their first full marathon. They have competed in half marathons and triathlons over the past several years in the Wyoming Valley and also outside the area. The Wendy’s half marathon in Wilkes-Barre is a favorite of the couple, who both participated in the local race in 2010. They live in Bear Creek with their 4 children – Matt, Paige, Grace, and Gillian.
They look forward to the challenges ahead with training for the event, and raising money and awareness for the important services that Allied Services provides. Both are active in community, school and philanthropic organizations, and see this as a great opportunity to continue their support for the Allied Services Foundation and achieve some personal goals while doing so.
