John A. Kramer Jr.
Hi, I’m John A. Kramer, Jr, Director of Production Planning and Control at Gertrude Hawk Chocolates. A key factor in my life is the enjoyment I gain by running. I have completed 6 full marathons and 7 plus half marathons. A major goal in my life is to have the ability to run in the New York City Marathon and I’m fortunate to be able to fulfill this goal as a member of Ryan’s Run 2012 team.
I’m also excited to have the opportunity to help others who have been injured for various reasons and are being helped by the great staff at Allied Services. I strongly believe that it is important to give back to the community in which we live and if my efforts as a member of Ryan’s team can help in raising funds to purchase the needed equipment for Allied Services patients then I am proud to be part of the challenge.
I was born and raised in Dunmore and have lived in Scranton for the last 30 plus years with my wife Margie and our three daughters Kelly, Colleen, and Kathryn. We have two grandchildren Olivia and Ave. I graduated high school from Scranton Prep in 1974 and went on to graduate from the University of Scranton and also hold a Masters Degree from Marywood University.
I am a graduate of Leadership Lackawanna and also served on its Board of Directors for 7 years. I am a current member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Northeaster Pennsylvania and have served as its Board President.
