Just days after WNEP TV’s Ryan Leckey and 33 other local runners completed the TCS New York City Marathon, Allied Services celebrated the end of another successful Ryan’s Run campaign, announcing a total of $389,812.00 raised in 2015.
The campaign officially kicked off in late-August at a concert hosted by 6-year corporate sponsor Mohegan Sun Pocono. In the following months, the Team Leckey runners put in many training miles to prepare for the big race, all while raising funds for the cause. Supporters turned out to cheer on runners and walkers at the Third Annual Ryan’s Run 5k and All-Abilities Walk, purchased official Ryan’s Run shirts and participated in fundraisers hosted by local schools, running clubs, and more, all to benefit the campaign.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the continued generosity of our community, corporate sponsors, employees, local schools and runners” commented William Conaboy, President and CEO of Allied Services Integrated Health System. “We’re fortunate to have the support of so many partners and individuals who are committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and life-changing injuries.”
Thanks to the support of WNEP TV, its major sponsors and the generosity of the local community, the Ryan’s Run campaign has raised more than $1.6 million since 2010. The proceeds from the Ryan’s Run campaign will benefit individuals with disabilities and life-changing injuries served by Allied Services, enabling the non-profit health system to invest in cutting-edge technology and services throughout Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
Allied Services wish to thank media sponsors WNEP TV-15, corporate sponsors Baker Tilly, Jack Williams Tire, Mohegan Sun Pocono, Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates P.C., Weis Markets, Lamar Advertising, signature event sponsors Aon and Quantum Rehab, and the many Ryan’s Run supporters for their outstanding commitment to supporting children and adults with disabilities.
