Allied In-Home Services extends a helping hand so those who are elderly or disabled but can be independent and remain in their homes.
Programs and Services
| Services offered: |
• Homemaker services and personal care needs, such as bathing and grooming |
• Tasks such as shopping, laundry, light housekeeping and meal preparation |
• Transfers in and out of wheelchairs |
• Help with ambulation |
• Attendant care for eligible adults under the age of 60, who are mentally alert and physically disabled, live as independently as possible in their own homes and seek or maintain employment |
Services are available throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania in the following counties.

Funding Programs
Allied In-Home Services professional staff will assist individuals in identifying appropriate funding sources. In-Home Services has contracts with:
- Lackawanna and Columbia County Human Services Development Fund
- Wayne County Area Agency on Aging (PDA waiver - Wayne, Pike, Luzerne, Wyoming, Sullivan and Susquehanna Counties)
- Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (to provide attendant care services to adults 18-59 years)
Funding is also available for eligible persons under the Attendant Care Medicaid Waiver.
