Heinz Rehab Employees raise Awareness and Funds for SPCA

Employees of Heinz Rehab Hospital in Wilkes-Barre held a bake sale, basket raffle, and dress down day on September 30th to raise funds for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Luzerne County. They raised $600 that day and an additional $600 in donations from employees, friends, and families, for a total of $1,200. The money was used to purchase 18 Kuranda beds for the dogs and $200 worth of cat food to help with the critical shortage due to kitten season.
