Michael J. Raymond, Ph.D., Director, Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychology and Clinical Director of the Brain Injury and Sports Concussion Program at Allied Services Integrated Health System, Heinz Rehab Hospital, was awarded the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN). The award was presented by Dr. Arthur MacNeill Horton, Chair, The Awards Committee, at the Annual National Academy of Neuropsychology Conference, San Juan, Puerto Rico, November 12-15th. The award was presented in recognition of Dr. Raymond’s leadership and service to the ABN and clinical neuropsychology “for his outstanding and distinguished contributions to professional neuropsychology. Dr. Raymond has served in important leadership positions and organizations that focus on neuropsychology, and in particular, ABN” remarked Dr. Horton. Dr. Raymond served as the Executive Director of ABN for 22 years.
Dr. Michael Raymond is a leading researcher and expert in the field of cognitive development, brain injury and a certified ImPACT Test concussion specialist. He has served as Director of Clinical/Forensic Neuropsychology and Clinical Director of the Brain Injury Program and Sports Concussion Program at Heinz Rehab for the past 26 years. Dr. Raymond has lectured both nationally and internationally and has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications related to neuropsychological assessment, forensic neuropsychology, traumatic brain injury, brain injury rehabilitation and other neurological disorders.
